Many Experiences with the same God

Ephesians 2:10 states For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” We are all different by design in the Body of Christ. Despite all these differences, we are one body with the same God who intends for us to use our spiritual gifts for the same purpose.

We are all made uniquely. God meets everyone in different ways. When you experience God’s presence, it can make you feel emotional and physically have an effect on your body. It can be a prophetic sign so you might not have no idea what’s happening to you at that time.

God is not limited to meet you just where you are and to experience the love that he has for his children. If you have experience Gods presence, then you have a story to tell.

Being in the presence of God, will lift the weight off you and bring so much joy and peace to your soul. Experiencing God’s presence makes me feel like he is giving me a huge hug that is out of this world and literally makes me feel like water running through my veins.

There are many experiences with the same God throughout the Whole Bible for example:

Read (Genesis 2:Ch. 4) Adam and Eve: While in the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve lived in God’s presence. God told them that if they ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, they would become mortal and be cast out of the Garden of Eden and His presence.

Read(Genesis 18) Abraham: When Abraham was 99 years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am the sovereign God. Walk before me and be blameless.

Read (Genesis 28:16) Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it.”

People Who Saw Him in the Physical, and Recognized Him as the Messiah

(Read the Four Gospels) Mary is one of the most admired biblical person in the Bible. Her obedience towards God to be a vessel for Him. Especially being a young, unmarried woman pregnant and then watching her child be tried and crucified. Jesus’ Mother a women who experience the presence of the Lord from the beginning. Mary carried Jesus in her womb, gave birth, nurtured him and taught him life a mother would to her child.

The Thief on the Cross

Read (John 3: 1-3)Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council. He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.” Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”

Read (John 4: 9-15) The Samaritan woman said to him, “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?” Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.” “Sir,” the woman said, “you have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water? Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did also his sons and his livestock?” Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water so that I won’t get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water.”

In order to experience God’s presence, start by spending quality time and seeking him through times of intimacy. Learn to talk, walk, and study his words. Everyday won’t be the same, but if we trust, obey and believe that I am the same God yesterday, today and forever more (Hebrews 13:8), we can experience his presence.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father,

Show us how to live in a place where we are aware of our constant communion with you. We want to feel your presence to know without a doubt that I am being held in your arms. Father touch us in a way that lets us know we are connected to you. We humble ourselves before you. Thank you for allowing us to rest under the shelter of your wings, we give your praise, worship and honor. In Jesus name Amen.
